BloomBuzz was started by us in the year 2019, when we were in the second year of our college and since then, there has been no looking back. Running a media platform comes forward as one of the most time consuming and difficult paths to the terrain.
We’ve always wanted to help students’ start-ups have a platform of their own. A platform that is built to provide them with the kind of audience who’ll be motivated by hearing of young individuals take up commitments tantamount to a Herculean Labour, which it is indeed, as starting from scratch an idea tugs along a lot of risks.
We often come across successful start-ups getting featured, but there are uncountable other start-ups that need a platform to share their bits of struggle, their story and their idea. For a country like India, which has the highest numbers of youth start-ups and young entrepreneurs, it becomes even more imperative.
Initially, it was difficult to manage the page, interviewing start-ups, compiling and putting up authentic content on the page, while parallelly managing our college and personal career commitments. What kept us going though, after every little failure was the feeling that 20 years down the line you’ll regret things you didn’t take up, than things you did and failed in.
As two young women we set out to build a platform dedicated to struggling young entrepreneurs and when you take up such a laborious task, hard work and struggle come along.
Like most start-ups, we had days governed by an absolute lack of motivation, work not going the right way, handling people’s doubt on our idea through a strong proof of concept, and so on; but in the end, the firm determination to build something that spreads positivity, motivates and provides knowledge of the world of business and of startups was too high for anything to stop us.
A big thanks to all our distinguished core team members who have been working relentlessly to make this platform reach this level, because nothing is possible without a team that stands strong and resolute through the thick and thin.
We’re still struggling and we believe that the beauty of any journey is from the hardships you overcome to achieve your dream.
